Technical advantages of brushless DC motors

　　Compared with ordinary brushed DC motors and induction (asynchronous) motors, the key technical features of brushless DC motors are:

　　1) Through the electronic control phase, the operation characteristics similar to the DC motor are obtained, with better controllability and wide speed range.

　　2) Rotor position feedback information and electronic multi-inverter drive are required.

　　3) It is essentially an AC motor. Because there is no spark or wear problems of the brush and commutator, it can work at high speed, can get high reliability, and has a long working life without frequent maintenance.

　　4) Using hydromagnetism to generate the air gap magnetic field, the power factor is high, the loss and heat of the rotor are low, and the efficiency is high; compared with data, the efficiency of the 7.5kw asynchronous motor is 86.4%, and the efficiency of the brushless DC motor of the same capacity is up to 92.4%.

　　5) There must be an electronic control part, so the total cost is higher than that of a brushed DC motor.
