1. Brushless DC motor stator and winding structure

In terms of principle and structure, the body part of the brushless DC motor is a permanent magnet synchronous motor: a stator with multi-phase windings and a rotor with permanent magnets. The motor body structure can be divided into radial structure and axial structure, outer rotor structure and inner rotor structure. The stator structure and function of the brushless DC motor are similar to the general AC asynchronous motor or synchronous motor, and its main function is to form a magnetic circuit and place multi-phase windings. The stator core of the common structure has cogging to facilitate the placement of windings.

Brushed DC motors have slotless winding structures, such as slotless DC motors, coreless motors, coreless motors and printed winding motors. It is also possible to inherit this technology to design a brushless DC motor with a slotless winding structure. Because the windings are actually on the stator, the slotless windings of the brushless DC motor are more convenient than the brushed DC slotless motors. The common method is to wind the coil components with self-adhesive enameled wire, arrange the coil components on the surface of the iron core with special tooling, and form and fix the coil components. The working principle of its winding is the same as that of a slotted motor, but in order to adapt to the special situation of the winding placed in the air gap, there are many different schemes in specific structure and technology.
